This Policy does not cover the privacy practices of any physicians with whom you communicate through the Local Doctors Services, defined in the First Opinion Terms of Use. If you use Local Doctors Services, you will be provided with the applicable notice of privacy practices as required by law.

Please note that copies of Information that you have updated, modified or deleted may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Services for a period of time, and we may maintain copies of such Information in our business records. Also, please be aware that First Opinion is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties (including physicians) with whom you elect to share your Information, and cannot grant you the ability to access or modify your Information when held by such third parties.

Security of Your Information

We have implemented safeguards to protect the Information we collect from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. More specifically, while your Information is encrypted when it is stored or at rest and during transmission through the Site or App, which transmission is over a Secure Sockets Layer, once the Information downloads to your device, it is no longer encrypted and may remain in active memory in your device. The level of security once downloaded or when in active memory depends on the user’s settings.

Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private.
